Dharma Realm Buddhist University is pleased to present three captivating Spring 2025 Arts Initiative exhibitions, each offering a unique glimpse into artistic expression and cultural heritage. These exhibitions showcase the creativity of our community, celebrate the legacy of DRBU’s founder, and highlight the intricate craftsmanship of traditional seal carving.
The exhibitions are open to the public Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, and by appointment on weekends at the DRBU Building (5950 Proper View Avenue, Ukiah).

Carving Unbound
February 10 – May 30 | Second Floor
Carving Unbound features the craftsmanship of the Silicon Valley Seal Art Society. Meticulously carved in stone, each seal conveys the ingenuity and finesse of its creator and holds a world of symbolism in a tiny crimson square.
The Kind Monk
February 10 – June 30 | Second Floor
The Kind Monk features the original illustrations of artist Huang Yunsong and celebrates the life of DRBU founder, Venerable Master Hsuan Hua, through vivid images and engaging stories written by DRBU alumna, DM Jin Rou.
DRBU Community Art Show
March 3 – May 30 | First Floor
The fourth annual DRBU Community Art Show features over 160 works of art from across the DRBU community, the IGDV Girls’ and Boys’ Schools, with artists ranging in age from 4 to over 88. Enjoy the bold ingenuity of our peers and friends in the final exhibition of the 2024-25 academic year.
