As we come to the end of another wonderful year at DRBU, there is much to celebrate.  We began the year by welcoming our largest-ever cohort of new BA students. Our new and returning students  come from fifteen countries, and from every continent except Antarctica! The vibrant new DRBU website launched in January, and in March DRBU’s accreditation was renewed for eight more years. Also in March, we hosted the seventh annual DRBU Student Symposium, with a record number of participants. April found DRBU students and staff taking a break from classes to participate in a three-day Contemplative Exercise Immersion investigating the practice of reciting the name of Guan Yin Bodhisattva.

We are looking forward to the July launch of our new Summer Program in Contemplative Philosophy, a college-level summer program designed for high school students and inspired by DRBU’s unique holistic approach to education. 

All of these exciting developments are made possible through the generous support of our donors. This year our Annual Fund goal is the most ambitious ever, at $1.2 million. We are close to reaching that goal, but we need everyone’s help to put us over the top before June 30, the end of our fiscal year. Every contribution, no matter the size, will help us get there.
