What was I doing before DRBU?
Before landing at DRBU, I worked in the fashion industry for roughly fifteen years and then slowly transitioned from that fast-paced high-pressure lifestyle to a more simple and minimal way of living, all while discovering who I am and what I value.
Influential class taken?
Sanskrit Language class was both challenging and rewarding, as it provided the opportunity to translate Buddhist and Indian Sutras.

How has DRBU changed me?
After completing six semesters at DRBU, I find that I’m more attuned to the feelings and needs of the community within which I live and work. There is continued discovery of ever expanding joy in learning, sharing, and exploring ideas with others. There is also a growing confidence with regards to research, writing, communication skills, and work ethic, along with increased enthusiasm for continued development in these areas.
What’s my service scholarship job?
While serving on the farm I was able to help provide healthy produce for the entire community. I Sserved in the University Library as well as in the women’s dormitory as a Residential Life Assistant. Also, I helped to provide healthy food and snack options for students through the DRBU Snacks Program.
