The DRBU Arts Initiative is pleased to announce the opening of the fall 2024 semester exhibitions, celebrating the mastery of three women artists.

Come view the exhibitions from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. on weekdays or by appointment on weekends at the DRBU Building. The exhibitions will be on display through December 13. For more information, email arts@drbu.edu.

Spirited Brush: Calligraphy of Lui Tai

Spirited Brush features powerful Chinese calligraphy: “paintings of the heart” and reflections of “truth, virtue, and beauty.” Master Calligrapher Lui Tai taught at DRBU in the 1980s and ’90s.

Fiber

Fiber features the vibrantly hued and richly textured knitted pieces of Bay Area artist Moya Tung. Incorporating yarn, ribbons, feathers, and wool, each creation exudes the whimsy and imagination of the artist.

from the Universe, into the Garden, to the Multiverse features a fifty-year retrospective of paintings by Healdsburg artist Elizabeth Hansen, whose works “make conscious, visible, and palpable” a lifetime of experiences and emotions.
